Full House Poker Enters Spring 2013 [UPDATE]

By Rebecca Smith , 3 years ago
Edit: The DLC achievements have now been added to Xbox.com. As thought, there are three new achievements worth a total of 50G. Those of you who waited to play this DLC can now do so without any problems. Those of you who had already unlocked some of the achievements before they were added properly will have to recover your profile and re-earn the achievements for them to count towards your total.

Original Story:

Microsoft's prime time gaming experience continues as Full House Poker enters its sixth season of Texas Heat, over two years since the game debuted on Xbox LIVE. It's time for "Texas Heat, Spring 2013 Season".

It's time for the Spring 2013 season of Texas Heat! Texas Heat is a regularly scheduled, fast-paced poker game that brings thousands of players together at the same time. You’ve got thirty minutes to bluff, bet, and raise your way to the top table in this unique, new poker game show!
The DLC adds three achievements for an unknown amount of gamerscore. It is likely to be 50G, but we can't be certain as the achievements have not yet added to Xbox.com. Those of you who unlock the achievements now will notice that they are not being added to your gamerscore or achievement total. Some players are reporting that some achievements are unlocking as soon as they boot up the game after downloading the DLC as the achievements are not locked to the upcoming season sessions; if this is the case, I would advise holding off from even downloading the DLC until the achievements are added properly. Unfortunately, those of you who unlock the achievements beforehand will have to recover your gamertag and then earn the achievements again for them to be added to your gamerscore.

The "Full House Poker: Texas Heat, Spring 2013 Season" DLC is FREE and can be downloaded from here. The DLC is not available worldwide so check to make sure that the content is available in your region.
