Bethesda releases info on 2nd DLC for Fallout 3

There are two things that news writers have to do that they find excruciating. 1: Wait for new games to come out even thought they look really cool and you want to play them right now. 2: Resist the urge to make really bad puns especially when a game or DLC pack has a name that's begging for it like "The Pitt."

"The Pitt" is the 2nd DLC pack for Fallout 3 and will be out in March. It will add new achievements, new weapons, and, of course, new quests. The AutoAxe, a new chainsaw type weapon is prominently visible in the second screenshot. Bethesda is hyping this DLC pack as morally grey. "[T]here’s no real right or wrong, just choices to be made, sides to be chosen, and a mystery that could send shockwaves throughout the entire Wasteland."

The new story begins with a radio message from a man named Wernher. Upon meeting him, he tells you that he is an escaped slave and his masters have the secret for curing mutations. So you make your way to the remnants of Pittsburgh, PA and must decide whether to side with the slaves or their Raider masters. It sounds like aside from moral choices, we can also be treated to a couple different stories if we make convenient saves.

Price and exact release date are TBD. This will be the second of three announced expansions.
