NCAA Football 14 Ultimate Team Details

Featuring over 1,400 players

Written by litepink on 17 May 13 at 07:51

In what is becoming a staple among EA Sports games, Ultimate Team will make its debut in the NCAA series with NCAA Football 14. At your disposal will be a pool of over 1,400 former college players to build your dream lineups and square them off against the CPU or other Ultimate Teams from around the globe.

Ultimate Team

A new Head-to-Head Seasons mode pits you against the community in a ten game season. The better you perform during the season the better your tournament seeding will be in the playoffs, and the farther you advance in these playoffs the greater the reward. If multiplayer isn't your thing you can test your skills and team management against the CPU in a set of Solo Challenges. Then you can buy more packs to build a stronger team, or use the game's auction house to buy/sell/trade for the players that you want.

Ultimate Team

NCAA Football 14 arrives July 9th.

This would actually be fun ONLY if they keep card ratings under control and not pull the BS that was M13 UT…

TheOriginal561 said:This would actually be fun ONLY if they keep card ratings under control and not pull the BS that was M13 UT…I agree that it was definitely overkill at times. Somebody has a good game and they make a 99 overall card. Somebody wears pink and they make a new 99 overall card. Somebody gets named player of the month and they get a 99 overall card.

Thankfully I doubt they'll have that problem with NCAA since they can't realistically use active players.

Edit: Just to add something: If Tim Tebow can graduate as one of the highest rated passers in college football history, be a Heisman winner, two-time National Champion and still only muster a 92, I'm certain the ratings will be under control.

I've 1ked every NCAA game. In fact, it's a main reason I went to consoles instead of staying on the PC, since they didn't release NCAA for the PC after '99.

If Ultimate Team is going to be a part of it from here on, I'm out. I don't like the UT concept and I despise the microtransaction part of it. It's what kept me away from Madden last year, and now they've lost me here, too.
