New Splinter Cell: Blacklist Co-op ComDev Video

Ubisoft continue to impress with more co-op gameplay for their upcoming stealth title, Splinter Cell: Blacklist. Recently, we covered a co-op trailer and some screens that showcased Fisher working alongside a former CIA operative known as Isaac Briggs. In the trailer, all seemed well between the smooth, stealthy duo. The new dev diary gives us a bit more insight as to what the situation is with Briggs and why he has been teamed up with Sam Fisher.

Richard Carrillo, lead game designer for the co-op of Blacklist, also speaks about some of the other characters of the game too, while we observe and pay witness to Fisher and Briggs doing what they do best, and making it look too easy:

The co-op mode is set to feature 14 unique missions, and four different types of missions, which will focus on the Economy System of the game. These missions can also be attempted in split-screen or online, adding a sugary, sweet icing to what's looking to be a very impressive piece of co-op cake.

Splinter Cell: Blacklist remains set for release on August 20th for the US, August 22nd for Europe and Australia, and August 23rd for the UK. Be sure to check out pre-order details too! Europeans can check out this link for pre-order bonuses right here. Americans can get their stealthy pre-order goodness right here, and for those looking to go all the way with their Blacklist purchase, this special link is the one for you!
