Back in 2004 there was a studio that took the gaming world into a new and enriched fantasy world known as, Fable
. Lionhead Studios brought the world of Albion to the first Xbox and from there the series has headed down a few different paths.
Today, Lionhead Studios announced that they are re-visiting a path from the past with the latest adventure to the Fable
series being, Fable Anniversary
will take gamers back to where it all started, but now the game will be available with enhanced visuals, combat, Smartglass App, and achievements. Larry Hyrb, Xbox LIVE's Major Nelson, recently interviewed
Ted Timmins from Lionhead Studios regarding the announcement, and here are some of the details.
Fable Anniversary will not only let you play the original story of the orphaned "Hero", it will also include the expansion pack "Fable: The Lost Chapters". Furthermore, the game will run at 1080p, include a new game interface, and an updated save system.

Fable Anniversary also brings Achievements to “Fable” for the first time. We’re doing something that’s not been done before. Fable’ has always been about choices and consequences, so we’re trying to put that into our Achievements.
Will the game stay true to its orginal roots? Timmins mentioned that for all of the chicken kickers out there, a new online leaderboard will exist to compete on the global scale, and the recent teaser trailer urges gamers to, #HidetheChickens.
