Tom Clancy's The Division Announced for Xbox One

Ubisoft arguably saved the best until last during their E3 keynote, bringing us the reveal of their new IP, Tom Clancy's The Division, an online RPG-shooter, set in the Tom Clancy Universe.

The game is being developed by Massive Entertainment (the people behind the multiplayer and co-op modes in Far Cry 3), and is set in New York, three weeks after a global pandemic has brought the world as we know it to it's knees.

We live in a fragile and complex world, a web of interdependent systems we rely on every day. When one fails, others follow, creating a deadly domino effect that can cripple society in days...

The second trailer showcased the beautiful third-person action that will be on offer, including how, similar to the Battlefield 4 Commander Mode, players can use a tablet to jump into the action.

Unfortunately, we only have "next year" as a release period for The Division at the moment.
