Konami has released an extended "Director's Cut" version of the http://www.trueachievements.com/Metal-Gear-Solid-5/achi....htm
trailer that was used to open Microsoft's keynote conference
at this year's E3. The trailer includes an extra three minutes of content at the beginning featuring some of the political and social commentary overlaying graphic and, literally, stomach churning images for which the series is known.
WARNING: The trailer is definitely not suitable for work and you may want to avoid it if you find scenes of torture, child soldiers and hands plunging into intestines distressing.
To accompany this trailer, high resolution images of the video have also been released, which give us a closer look at some of the game's heroes and rogues, as well as close-ups of the aforementioned stomach churning.
Finally, we have a poster showing Snake seemingly going through one of those airport full-body scanners. Something tells me he's going to get a pat-down.Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain
is due on Xbox 360 and Xbox One sometime in the future.
