The Pinball Arcade New Tables Arriving After All

By Andrew Ogley, 3 years ago
As we reported not so long ago, new pinball tables were still being announced for the XBLA title The Pinball Arcade. At the time of writing however, it was not possible to clarify how or when this would happen as the publisher had been declared bankrupt.

Happily, we are now able to report some better news that explains the situation and reveals how the new tables will eventually appear. The developers of the pinball title have posted an announcement on their official Facebook page which reveals the plan to release the tables in discounted Season Packs when the publisher is no longer considered bankrupt later in the summer. The short but encouraging statement is shown below:

As most of you know, we have been unable to release new table packs for the Xbox 360 since our Microsoft publisher declared bankruptcy last year. We finally have some good news to report- the publisher (Fillpoint/Crave Entertainment) has now filed a reorganization plan with the court and is scheduled to emerge from bankruptcy this summer. When this occurs we will submit all of the unreleased table packs to Microsoft for approval and release. We plan to offer discounted Season Packs on the 360 to make it easy for our 360 customers to get caught up on tables. Thank you for your patience as we’ve worked to get this issue resolved- it’s been as frustrating for us as it’s been for you!As always, we'll let you know as soon as we get firm information on the exact release dates of the new packs.
