Another XBLA Bundle Hits the Marketplace

By Rebecca Smith,
Microsoft's current trend seems to be bundling Xbox LIVE Arcade games together at a bargain price. We've already had the Twisted Pixel Bundle and the Beautiful Puzzle Pack. Now the third pack has appeared: Kinect Bundle.

The Kinect Bundle contains five Kinect-required or Kinect-enabled XBLA titles. Dragon's Lair takes players back to 1983 as Dirk the Daring, a valiant knight, who must rescue Princess Daphne from an evil dragon, Singe. Diabolical Pitch puts players in the role of a former baseball pitcher, who must survive a trip through a dark and twisted amusement park using only his bionic pitching arm to aid his survival. Wreckateer allows players to take control of a giant ballista in an attempt to destroy the castles of your rivals. Benjy's Mansion is the location for Haunt; as one of the first visitors in a generation to enter through the door, you must outwit the house's haunted occupants. Finally, Home Run Stars is another baseball title, only this one sees you batting for both the highest possible score and several strategically placed targets.

This bundle includes five full Xbox LIVE Arcade titles: “Dragon's Lair," "Wreckateer," "Home Run Stars,” “Haunt,” and “Diabolical Pitch.” PLEASE NOTE: this bundle pack offers these games together at a discounted rate over individual purchases. The games in this bundle are available as individual downloads in the Xbox Games marketplace and are exactly the same. Be aware that it is possible to download the same game twice. If you already own one of these games there is no additional discount on this bundle, nor do you receive an additional copy of the game you already own.
The Kinect Bundle currently costs 800 MSP and can be downloaded from here. If the Twisted Pixel Bundle and the Beautiful Puzzle Pack are any indication this price is likely to be a limited time offer, so don't hang around. As the five titles usually cost a total of 4000 MSP (currently 3520 MSP while Haunt is on sale), this bundle offers an 80% total saving of 3200 MSP. Personally, I wouldn't wait too long to pick this one up!

More XBLA bundles are expected in the future and we'll be bringing you news on those as soon as we hear anything!
