Australians can now rejoice: State of Decay
has finally been released on XBLA in that region after it was previously banned for it's inclusion of real world narcotics. Undead Labs have submitted a modified version of the game that replaces any mention of illegal drugs or stimulants to simply "vitamins".
While there is now an R18+ rating in Australia, the Classification Board can still refuse classification to a game that rewards the player for the usage of illicit substances. It was the same rule that forced Fallout 3
to have drug references modified for Australian audiences; an example being that morphine was changed to "Med-X".
For those in the land down under desperately awaiting their fix, State of Decay
can now be picked up for 1600 MSP
