EA Sports today unveiled a new three year partnership with F.C. Barcelona, making EA the official and exclusive video game partners of the club. Thanks to the partnership, 17 of Barcelona's stars, including Xavi Hernandez, Gerard Piqué, Cesc Fàbregas, Dani Alves and Andrés Iniesta, will have 3D captures of their heads made, with the end result making its way into FIFA 14
. The Camp Nou will also be used as a featured stadium in the game and Lionel Messi, who is already on the cover of FIFA 14
, will become the central person used in marketing and advertising for the FIFA

For those of you lucky enough to be able to go to the Camp Nou, EA will also be developing a range of interactive activities there over the course of the partnership. At certain home matches, the 'EA Sports Dugout', which is a mobile gaming trailer, will be at the stadium and will provide fans a chance to play some EA Sports games. F.C. Barcelona is joining Valencia, Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester City, Borussia Dortmund, Olympique Lyonnais, Paris Saint-Germain and AC Milan as EA Sports partner clubs.FIFA 14
will kick-off on the Xbox 360 on September 27th, with the release of the Xbox One version yet to be announced.
