Rayman Legends Demos a Toad Story

By Rebecca Smith, 3 years ago
Originally, Xbox 360 gamers weren't even going to be able to experience the platforming action provided by the upcoming Rayman Legends. Then, back in February, the previously Wii U exclusive title turned multiplatform. Wii U players have been able to play a demo of the title for quite some time; now, Xbox 360 gamers are catching up with today's release of the same three-level demo. The new invasion maps add a little bit of a twist though.

Download an exclusive demo for free! Join the Heroes of Rayman Legends - up to 4 players in co-op – in their adventure through three amazing and colorful universes : Teensies in trouble, Toad Story and Castle Rock musical map. See if you have what it takes to become a Platforming Legend! In Teensies in troubles and Toad Story, discover one map and its “invasion” version. In these “invasion” maps, where enemies and surroundings have nothing to do with the original map, your challenging mission will consist in saving the Teensies before the clock runs out! In Castle Rock, jump to the beat of a drum, punch to the bass line, even zip-line during a guitar sustain to our version of “Black Betty”.
For a quick peek at the levels that you're about to encounter, take a look at these screenshots:

If this isn't enough to convince you to try the game, take a look at the latest gameplay footage to emerge from the depths of Ubisoft's vaults. The 'Gloo Gloo' musical level is set in the stealthy underwater world of 20,000 Lums Under the Sea. Don't forget the celebratory dance at the end.

Rayman Legends is due to be released on August 30th in Europe and on September 3rd in North America. The 653.51 MB demo can be downloaded from here. The demo is exclusive to Xbox LIVE Gold members until August 21st, at which point it will become available for all players to download.
