Xbox One Launch Titles Confirmed

Earlier, we were able to bring you the latest news over the titles that had been confirmed for the Xbox One. Today, we can add a little more detail to some of these titles, and reveal that a number of them will actually be launch titles for the new console.

Today at Gamescom 2013, Microsoft confirmed a list of 23 titles that would be available from day one on the Xbox One. The list covers a diverse range of blockbuster titles, along with lesser known titles, from both well-known and not so well known developers and studios. It's interesting to see that a whole cross-section of genres is catered for, including stealth-action, shooters, racing, sports, and Kinect based titles. Naturally, there is also a zombie based title thrown in for good measure.

Wallets and purse strings will no doubt be stretching and straining on launch day with so many different titles being available to gamers, enabling them to start building their Xbox One library, and inevitable backlog, immediately from day one.

The complete list, sorted in alphabetical order (thus no favouritism is to be inferred) is included below:

Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag (Ubisoft, Ubisoft)
Battlefield 4 (DICE, Electronic Arts)
