Cobalt Coming To Xbox 360 and Xbox One

Cobalt is a 2D side-scrolling action title in which you take control of a cyborg capable of incredibly slick moves. Whenever a bullet, missile or other death-delivery system gets near your character, time will slow down allowing you to perform a fancy, stylish escape. Cobalt also has the distinction of being the first third-party game to be published by Mojang, the developer of Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition. At Gamescom 2013, it was confirmed that Cobalt will be available for both the Xbox 360 and Xbox One.

Here's a few screenshots of Cobalt:

As pretty as the simple, stylish graphics look in a screenshot, they don't highlight the major selling point regarding the consistent usage of slow motion. Thankfully, Microsoft also provided us with a gameplay trailer highlighting the slow-motion in both the co-op campaign mode and the versus mode, which supports up to four players.

Cobalt currently has no release date for either platform.
