When Reverge Labs decided that they wanted to make DLC for Skullgirls
, they realised that they would need a bit of help with funding. They took to Indiegogo with what appeared to be a fairly ambitious goal of $150,000. Nobody could predict the flurry of funding that followed so, when the campaign ended back in March and funding had reached over five times the desired amount, Reverb decided to reward the fans by producing several DLC characters.
Squigly is the first of those characters and she will be launching with her own stage and story mode. Alex Ahad, Skullgirls
' Creative Director, gives a few details on what to expect in terms of future DLC for the game, while Mike Z, the game's Project Lead, gives players a 20 minute preview of the character.
We still don't have a release date for any of the DLC but we'll be sure to let you know when we get more information.
