NBA 2K14 Trailer Slams Into View

2K Sports has released plenty of videos and screenshots over the past few months for its basketball simulation iteration, NBA 2K14. The bulk of the coverage has concentrated on the title's cover star, LeBron James. The first trailer showcased the man himself alongside his virtual equivalent, and then a trio of screenshots highlighted the main man once again.

The publisher has now released a new trailer. The footage opens and closes with LeBron in full flow, and plenty of other players get their own chance to shoot, shimmy, slam, and block like their hearts depend on it. The hip-hop soundtrack gets a serious outing too.

In addition to revealing LeBron James as the cover star, 2K Sports has also been busy making sure that the best of European basketball will feature in the game. For the first time in the franchise's history, the NBA will be accompanied by The Euroleague.

NBA 2K14 is scheduled for release on October 1st for the Xbox 360. The title has been confirmed as a launch title for the Xbox One, so it can be expected to arrive in November this year.
