September Time-Specific Achievements Creep Closer

By Rebecca Smith, 3 years ago
Usually we would do individual reminders for each game when a time-specific achievement approaches. However, every now and again we get a clash of achievements that appear on the same day. Tomorrow, September 2nd, is just one of those days.

Tomorrow is Labor Day in the United States, a day that celebrates the success of trade and labor organisations. The entire weekend has also become a major shopping event with special promotional sales. Batman won't be heading to his local shopping mall though; instead he will be visiting Calendar man for a historical story that will count towards these achievements in Batman: Arkham City (Xbox 360) and Batman: Arkham City (PC):

Batman: Arkham City (Xbox 360)StorytellerThe Storyteller achievement in Batman: Arkham City (Xbox 360) worth 28 pointsHave 12 murderous dates with Calendar Man

Batman: Arkham City (PC)StorytellerThe Storyteller achievement in Batman: Arkham City (PC) worth 38 pointsHave 12 murderous dates with Calendar Man

If sitting down for a story isn't really your thing, maybe you would prefer to be a little more active. If you still haven't danced with a Dance Central 3 character on their birthday, tomorrow brings another opportunity to do so. Players will need to play "In Da Club" by 50 Cent with Shinju, one of the two members of the Ninja Crew.

Dance Central 3Go ShortyThe Go Shorty achievement in Dance Central 3 worth 43 pointsPerform "In Da Club" with a character on that character's birthday.

This character is not unlocked at the very beginning of the game. Although unlocks within the game are random, many players have reported that the Ninja Crew are one of the later unlocks, meaning that players will need to be around level 40 to be able to get the achievement this month. If this date isn't convenient for you, you'll have to wait until next month before several opportunities present themselves to get this achievement. For those dates, players will be able to use characters that are unlocked at the very start of the game, meaning that no prior experience with the title is needed to be able to get the achievement.

There are more time-specific achievements that will be popping up this month. We’ll bring you the reminders for those closer to the time so that you don’t forget!
