Forza Motorsport 5 to Feature Bathurst Track

Turn 10 has unveiled their latest inclusion to Forza Motorsport 5 with the Bathurst track, Mount Panorama in Australia. With it we have a lone screenshot showing off Forza 5’s beautiful and highly detailed graphics.

Dan Greenawalt, Creative Director at Turn 10 Studios, stated that “Few circuits have been requested more by the worldwide Forza fanbase than Bathurst...”. Through laser scanning and a new materials based graphics engine, Greenawalt boasts that every turn and straight can be reproduced down to “sub-centimeter accuracy”. That’s really accurate now isn’t it!

Xbox Australia will be present at the real-life Bathurst track by launching the Xbox One Racing Team at the 2013 Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000. Check out the awesome Holden VF Commodore all decked out with Xbox One design. To be clear, these are some pics of the actual vehicle to be driven by Andy Priaulx and Mattias Ekström, not Forza Motorsport 5 screenshots. Though if previous coverage is anything to go by, Forza 5 gets pretty close to looking like this.

Forza Motorsport 5 arrives alongside the launch of Xbox One on November 22nd.
