It seems pretty standard these days to include features in games that allow players to share their experiences with other gamers around the world. Not to be outdone, Square Enix have announced that http://www.trueachievements.com/Lightning-Returns-Final....htm
will incorporate a social media service, named the "Outerworld", which will allow players to share their own in-game snapshots of the world and characters, send messages to each other, and show off their battle scores. The following screenshots show some of these new features in action:
Alongside this announcement is a slew of new images featuring the character Oerba Dia Vanille, nicknamed the "saint". Of course, we all recognise this character from the original Final Fantasy XIII
game as just Vanille. Apparently she has now awoken from a deep sleep with the new ability to hear the voices of the dead. Does that sound like a gift or a curse? In any case, she now lives in Luxerion under the watchful eye of the Order. There's also a few pictures of Lightning thrown in for good measure:Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII
will be released on February 11th in North America and February 14th in Europe.
