Forza Motorsport 5 Reveals More Car Pass Details

By Andrew Ogley, 2 years ago
Not so long ago we were able to bring you news about the Car Pass for the upcoming racing title, Forza Motorsport 5. Turn 10 Studios have now released a little more information about what players can expect to pay and what they will receive for their investment.

Car packs are due to be released in the first week of each month, with each pack containing ten different cars, and the first DLC pack will actually be available on launch day. These packs will be available individually on the marketplace, or players may opt to purchase the Car Pass that will entitle them to the first six packs for free. The pass will cost $49.99 (regional prices to be confirmed), which will represent an 18% saving compared to purchasing packs separately.

The first DLC, entitled the "LaFerrari Car Pack", will contain Ferrari's newest hypercar, powered by an innovative 950-hp hybrid engine and limited to 499 global production units. The LaFerrari is set to become one of the fastest and rarest cars in the world and Forza fans will be able to get behind the wheel on launch day. Along with this stunning new car, the pack will feature nine other cars, but the team at Turn 10 will be revealing those in due course.

To remind you of how this is going to look, we have two new videos featuring Indycars racing at Indianapolis and an Aerial Atom taking on the track at Silverstone.

Forza Motorsport 5 is a launch day title for the new Xbox One console.
