Ubisoft has confirmed the release date, via the UK Ubisoft Twitter page, for Assassin's Creed Liberation HD. After narrowing it down to Janurary 2014, they have now given the exact release date: January 15th, 2014. Owners of the season pass for Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag will receive a 25% discount towards Assassin's Creed Liberation HD.

As for the game itself, one thing that sets this one apart from others in the franchise is that the protagonist is a female; her name is Aveline. You are also able to change disguises, offering different approaches to the missions. Go head on against the enemies while in your Assassin's outfit, charm your foes in a trap while in your formal attire, or even impersonate a slave to create a riot. For more details to those unfamiliar with the game, you can check our previous coverage that shows off screenshots and the announcement trailer.

Assassin's Creed Liberation HD releases January 15th, 2014 for $19.99.

Hello everyone! I joined the Newshound group of TrueAchievements back in June 2013. Gaming has always been a passion of mine, up until recently I was a huge score-whore but have recently slacked off a bit. Not to brag or anything, but I do hold the top position in TA Score among the Newshounds (much to Michelle's displeasure...lol). I'm always up for boosting some of the older multiplayer games, so if you need help I'll try to find time in my schedule to help out! I'm also a huge Marvel Comics fan and Moon Knight is my favorite character, period. Excelsior!
