GTASC 2014 Registration Now Open

By Jonathan Barnes, 2 years ago
Much like the end of the (criminally underrated) 2010 film Predators, the ordeal known as GTASC 2013 might have just ended, but the NEW ordeal known as The Great TrueAchievement Score Challenge 2014 is ready for signups.

It should be noted that, unlike the (criminally underrated) 2010 film Predators, this year's teams will not be dropped onto an alien world and left to survive. This alone was the reason for Newshound Team's untimely demise.

Let's get to the details.

What is the GTASC?
Great question! Here's your answer.

That sounds AWESOME, but I need more details.
Ask and ye shall receive! We have a thorough and extensive FAQ sheet!

It can't be that simple. There have to be some rules. What is this, Thunderdome?
...two gamers enter... one gamer leaves.

You are right, though, there is a nice list of rules for you to read.

OK. I'm in. What's next!?
Assemble your Avengers! You need a team of four.

Where and how do I register us?
Team captains create a team on the Hub Page and invite teammates. They are sent a PM and can join the team through the PM. Six months tenure at TrueAchievements and a 10,000 GamerScore are the minimum requirements for entry this year. Please note that only members with a full TA account (not tracking limited) can enter.

PLEASE NOTE: Unlike 2013, there are no upper limits to team score limits. There is no separate tier for "professional" players. Everyone gets to compete with each other.

Registration is open until January 4th, 2014. GTASC 2014 starts on Sunday the 5th of January at midnight GMT and ends on Sunday the 6th of December at midnight GMT.

For more details and information, visit the GTASC 2014 Hub for access to the forums, leaderboard, rules, and all of the other goodness.

Good Luck, Godspeed, May The Force Be With You, May The Odds Be Ever In Your Favor, Don't Look A Gift Horse In the Mouth, Wait 30 Minutes After Eating Before Swimming, and Don't Mess Around With Jim.
