Marvel vs. Capcom Games Being Delisted From XBL

By Rebecca Smith,
Recently we were given notice of the impending delisting, albeit a temporary one, for Skullgirls. Now another developer has decided to give notice of the impending delisting of their products at the end of the month.

Marvel vs. Capcom 2 will be removed from Xbox LIVE Arcade. We're not sure whether the associated gamer picture packs will be affected too as these were not mentioned.

Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 will be removed from Games on Demand. The game's 14 DLC add-ons will also be removed from the Games Store.

Both of the above titles will be removed from the Games Store on December 26th. No reason was given for their removal, but we can only assume that Capcom's Marvel licence may be coming to an end. Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds was not specifically mentioned but we aren't too confident about the fate of this game, so I wouldn't leave it too long to pick up any of the game's DLC add-ons if you want them.

Marvel vs. Capcom Origins is unaffected.

Thanks to the members of the community who sent this one in!
