Warner Bros. and Traveller's Tales announced LEGO The Hobbit at the end of November, showing off a a few screenshots to get gamers excited about the upcoming game. LEGO The Hobbit will only feature areas from the first two movies, which are The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey and The Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug.

It will follow the epic journey of Bilbo Baggins as he leaves the safety of the Shire and embraces the dangers of Middle-earth to help his Dwarven friends reclaim the lost Kingdom of Erebor within the Lonely Mountain. While taking control of the Dwarves, players will be able to utilize and combine their unique abilities to solve what could be the most diverse quest in any LEGO game currently available.

LEGO The Hobbit will make its way out of the Shire when it releases sometime in 2014 for Xbox 360 and Xbox One.

Hello everyone! I joined the Newshound group of TrueAchievements back in June 2013. Gaming has always been a passion of mine, up until recently I was a huge score-whore but have recently slacked off a bit. Not to brag or anything, but I do hold the top position in TA Score among the Newshounds (much to Michelle's I'm always up for boosting some of the older multiplayer games, so if you need help I'll try to find time in my schedule to help out! I'm also a huge Marvel Comics fan and Moon Knight is my favorite character, period. Excelsior!
