Game Informer Reveals Evolve

By Jonathan Barnes, 2 years ago
As the leader in print game news, Game Informer always gets sweet reveals and exclusives, the latest of which appears on their February cover, a new multiplayer-focused shooter, Evolve.

Evolve 1

Coming from Turtle Rock Studios, the studio behind the development of Valve's Left 4 Dead, Evolve will pit four-player crews against a separate, player-controlled monster that grows in size and power over the course of matches. Each player within the crew will feature his or her own unique items and abilities. According to Game Informer, Evolve is being designed with variety and replayability in mind, mixing cooperative gameplay with competitive multiplayer elements in a four-versus-one style setup.

Game Informer also has the box art for the game. Note the very tiny human footprint in the lower-right side of the art, just above the 2K logo. It will give a good visual as to how big the monster will grow during matches.

Evolve 2

Evolve is set to come to Xbox One and PS4 this fall.
