The Wolf Among Us - Ep. 2 Release Window Revealed

If it feels like you've been waiting a long time for the second episode in Telltale Games' Point & Click adventure, The Wolf Among Us, well, you have. Not as long as some other infamous episodic series have left you waiting for a sequel, but certainly longer than we've come to expect from the minds that gave us The Walking Dead.

Thankfully, the wait for Episode 2 of The Wolf Among Us is almost over, as the developers revealed on their forums that the game will be released during the first week of February. They also issued the following statement and stated that they expect to not have such lengthy delays in the future.

Ep 2 should be available the first week of February. We are working hard with all of our partners (Xbox, PlayStation, Steam, Apple) to coordinate everything, but we’re confident enough to announce that here. The episode is looking really good (as is the rest of the season!). We are very concerned about the long delay for this episode, but this is one of those occasions where several things conspired against us (not to mention the additional delays due to the holidays). I won't dive into the details, but it’s been an unusual and specific set of circumstances and we do not anticipate it happening again as we go forward with the rest of the season.
While a specific date was not given, it seems likely we can expect the game to hit XBLA on Wednesday, February 5th. If you didn't take advantage of the Christmas-time deal on the title, you can still go ahead and pick up the Season Pass, which offers a discounted price on the cost of purchasing episodes 2-5.
