When Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution
was announced, publisher Namco Bandai promised that the game would include new gameplay features, new characters and a "never-before-seen roster". So far, they seem to be keeping that promise. After revealing a new advanced technique and four new characters
, alongside a new character
designed by Masashi Kishimoto, the latest news brings word of a new game mode: Ninja World Tournament mode.
The mode pits a player against three AI opponents in a four-ninja melee battle. As the player attacks their opponents, they collect Battle Orbs. The character that has collected the most Battle Orbs by the end of the match is the winner.
Ninjas head over to Festival Island where the tournament is located. You must compete in a series of tiered battles and work your way across the island until you have reached the heights of the S-ranked battles. Can you become the ultimate ninja?
If this doesn't sound challenging enough, Mecha-Naruto will be looking to stir things up on Festival Island.
You can get to grips with the new game mode when Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution
is released on the Xbox 360 sometime this year.
