Skullgirls Encore Gets Squigly Trailer

By Rebecca Smith, 2 years ago
As you likely know by now, Skullgirls was removed from the Xbox LIVE Games Store after legal wrangling with previous publisher Konami. Developer Autumn Games was hoping to have the new version of the game, Skullgirls: Encore, back onto the marketplace by the end of January. As you have also likely realised, this didn't happen. Due to delays with the application of the patch to the game, new publisher MarvelousAQL has not yet been able to even submit the new build of the title to Microsoft. They are hoping to do this at the start of next week.

Despite the delays, we've found a launch trailer for Skullgirls: Encore. Take a look at all of the Skullgirls in action.

Of course, alongside the re-launch of the game will come the game's first DLC character Squigly. The highly technical character is an undead opera singer who hosts a dragon parasite called Leviathan. A 20-minute preview of the character can be found here but, if you want the short version, take a look at the trailer below.

Squigly will be free for a limited period when she is released alongside Skullgirls: Encore. When we get a release date, we'll be sure to let you know.
