Elder Scrolls Online Showcases Some Music

By Michelle Balsan, 2 years ago
One of the many challenges that MMORPG developers face is creating a fully realized world. This means that it doesn't just look good, but that the world is populated with all the little things that make it reflect what life might have actually been like in the environments that are being created.

One important element in this world creation is music -- from the tunes that shape your adventure, to the small songs you might hear in taverns or other spots during your travels. Bethesda and Zenimax are very aware of how music will shape the experience of gamers in their upcoming http://www.trueachievements.com/The-Elder-Scrolls-Onlin....htm, and they've released a pair of videos showcasing melodies that you'll hear during your quests.

The first video gives us a listen to some of the game's music and gives us a sense of how music, and the ambiance it creates, will shape our adventures. The piece may be short, but go ahead and try not to get goosebumps.

The second video features Malukah, who has written and composed several bard songs for the game. This one is titled "Three Hearts as One"

Your adventure begins this June on Xbox One.
