Worms Armaggedon Decades Coming To XBLA

With more leaks than Thames Water, the Australian Classification Office has done it again and all but confirmed the release of Worms Armageddon Decade for Xbox Live Arcade.

Worms Armageddon was originally released in 1999 (hence the decade now in the title) on Dreamcast, Game Boy Color, Nintendo 64, PlayStation, and Windows and, in my opinion, represents the best of the Worms titles.

No details of a price or date yet but the classification was added by Microsoft themselves meaning that this is perhaps a XBLA exclusive or at the very least the only game under this name.

UPDATE: Just as I was about to post this joystiq posted an update.

Team 17 have said the differences between the upcoming Worms games will be that the PSN edition will be an enhanced version of the XBLA release, including more weapons, additional levels, new audio and 1080p support.

The XBLA release of Worms Armageddon Decade which is subject to name change will be a "vastly expanded edition" of the original XBLA Worms, that will include weapons and features from Worms Armageddon as well as other brand new content. More details to come.

Can’t help but feel a little harshly done by with the whole PSN edition will be an enhanced version of the XBLA release. File size limitations perhaps?
