Dying Light Fading to February 2015

By Brent Johnson, 2 years ago
Originally scheduled for release this year, Dying Light developer Techland announced that the title would be delayed until February 2015.

In the statement, the developer cites the need for more time to fully develop natural and unprecedented movement. Promising to bring innovation to the survival horror genre, the decision to delay was based solely on a desire to deliver the highest quality game.

The new date ensures that we can fully realize our vision of an innovative open-world game. We won’t need to make compromises or trade-offs[...] For you, it means an outstanding, original game that makes the wait more than worthwhile.
Techland went on to promise that more details about the game, under development for both Xbox One and 360, would be coming during next month's E3.

Thanks to the members of the community for sending this one in.
