New Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor Trailer

By Joshua Rust, 2 years ago
Developer Monolith Productions and publisher Warner Bros. Interactive first announced Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor back in November of last year. Since then, we've had our fair share of media coming through including this set of screenshots, with a few more to feast upon, and a first look at the gameplay, which looks strangely familiar wouldn't you say? Regardless, it looks fantastic!

Today, in this new trailer, we get a glimpse at the weapons, runes, and how Talion's abilities will upgrade while exploring the lands of Middle-earth:

Those in the UK, be sure to check your local retailer for these newly announced pre-order bonuses:

Deadly Archer Rune - Talion will deal extra damage when executing ranged headshots against Sauron’s Captains

Flame of Arnor Rune - Talion can ignite his blade by achieving a high combo count and incinerate his enemies

Captain of the Watch / Hidden Blade Rune - “Captain of the Watch” character skin and the Hidden Blade Rune – Talion can deal extra damage when executing stealth attacks against Sauron’s Captains

Orc Slayer Rune - Talion will decimate Sauron’s Captains with increased damage from special attacks
In addition to these bonuses, players that pre-order will also receive the previously announced pre-order bonuses as well! Gamers journey back to Middle-earth on October 7th when Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor releases on both Xbox One and Xbox 360.

Hello everyone! I joined the Newshound group of TrueAchievements back in June 2013. Gaming has always been a passion of mine, up until recently I was a huge score-whore but have recently slacked off a bit. Not to brag or anything, but I do hold the top position in TA Score among the Newshounds (much to Michelle's displeasure...lol). I'm always up for boosting some of the older multiplayer games, so if you need help I'll try to find time in my schedule to help out! I'm also a huge Marvel Comics fan and Moon Knight is my favorite character, period. Excelsior!
