The demo for EA SPORTS UFC
has been available for download since Tuesday. EA feels that some of you may need some tips and tricks to help you out if you are struggling with the gameplay, so the publisher has released a series of videos covering various aspects of gameplay that you will need to consider if you are to succeed and walk away with the belt.
The first video teaches you how to start a submission manoeuvre before progressing all the way through to a big finish. The second video teaches you how to respond if you're on the receiving end of a submission move, either by blocking it before it has begun or by escaping from the attempt while the move is in progress.
The next two videos give ground tips. Land killer shots while on the ground or get into position to start a submission manoeuvre. If you're the underdog, learn how to get back on your feet, block ground strikes and submission moves, and stop your opponent from transitioning to another move.
Takedowns can turn a fight around in an instant. Learn how to perform landing takedowns and power takedowns. When faced with an opponent who is trying to take you down, learn how to counter their attempts and keep them on their feet.
If you specialise in dealing damage at close quarters, the next couple of videos may be of use to you. Clinch your opponent to unleash your knees and punches, or move in for a power takedown. If you need to move out of range, the other video teaches you how to block strikes, block the clinch and put space in between you and your opponent.
The final two videos cover the basics of striking, from the standard moves to modified strikes. Block, parry or evade while avoiding taking any damage.
Put all of these tips into practice, because EA Sports UFC
is due to be released on June 17th, 2014 in North America and June 20th, 2014 in Europe.
