As we have previously confirmed, Japan will be getting the Xbox One on September 4th. Just like the 13 regions that received the console on its launch day on November 22nd, 2013, Japan will be getting a Day One Edition console. The Day One Edition will come with the limited edition Day One control pad, Kinect, Titanfall (Xbox One) and Kinect Sports Rivals. Players can pre-order this edition starting from June 21st; it will set you back ¥49,890.

The limited edition Titanfall control pad will also be available for purchase with a recommended retail price of ¥6,480. As well as the four launch titles confirmed by Square Enix, players will be able to get their hands on Forza Motorsport 5, Dead Rising 3, Ryse: Son of Rome and Zoo Tycoon (Xbox One) at launch. With the exception of Zoo Tycoon, which will retail at ¥5,900, all of those launch titles will set you back ¥6,900. If you'd rather spend a little more money, the Forza Motorsport 5 Limited Edition will cost ¥7,900. All of these can also be reserved from June 21st.

As far as apps go, the Movies & TV, Machinima, Twitch, OneDrive, Internet Explorer and Skype apps will be available at launch. Several apps are currently being designed especially for the Japanese market too. These include video-sharing service niconico, a karaoke app, and an app to share video footage from the J League.

What will you get on launch day?
