As usual, this year's E3 was filled with game announcements both expected and unexpected. One of the announcements that caught some of us by surprise was the reveal of Halo: The Master Chief Collection. When the dust settled on the show, most TAers claimed it to be their most anticipated title from E3 2014. Enough time has passed to let that news sink in, so now we have some more details, screens, and videos to share with you.

First, the details. Unsurprisingly, Halo 2 will have the Mongoose in it, but the team at 343 Industries has attached guns to it to give us the Gungoose. The Gungoose will be heavily featured in a new gameplay variant: Gungoose CTF.

In addition to this news about the Gungoose and its related game variant, 343 also dropped some concept art for one of their favorite maps for that gameplay type: Coagulation. It is one of the six Halo 2 maps reimagined for the Master Chief Collection.
