Lacrosse 15 Coming to Consoles

Crosse Studios is nearing the end of its successful crowdfunding campaign to bring the first ever retail Lacrosse video game, Casey Powell Lacrosse 16, to consoles next year. To date, Crosse Studios has released a number of Lacrosse video games on iOS and Android as well as numerous indie titles on the Xbox 360, so they are well suited to delivering the highest-quality lacrosse video game ever created.

The campaign for the title started on May 22nd and is due to close later today, July 24th at 11:59pm PT. At time of writing, $149,809 had been raised, which surpasses the original goal of $75,000, as well as the stretch goal of $115,000 needed to bring the title to the Xbox One.

For those that don’t know much about the sport, Lacrosse is a fast-paced, contact game played by teams of ten players with the aim to 'shoot' the ball into the opponent's goal using a long-handled stick called a crosse, or Lacrosse stick. Lacrosse 15 aims to bring all of the adrenaline-fuelled action of the sport to consoles and deliver authentic Lacrosse gameplay with high quality graphics, featuring a multi-year dynasty mode as well as competitive online multiplayer and in-depth character customisation.
