Killer Instinct Season One Heading to Retail By Dread Reaver, 02 Aug 2014 FollowtopicsKiller InstinctKiller InstinctXbox Game StudiosFree to PlayXbox Game PassFighting Microsoft Studios have announced that they will be releasing a physical retail edition of their Xbox One launch title Killer Instinct, which has so far only been available as a digital download. This special "Combo Breaker Pack" will be selling for $19.99 when it hits shelves around September 23rd, and contains all of the previously released fighters from the game's first "season"; i.e. Jago, Sabrewulf, Glacius, Thunder, Sadira, Orchid, Spinal and Fulgore. In addition, the retail edition will include a special code that will allow players to unlock the character TJ Combo from the second season's roster. This will surely be welcome news for those with sub-par internet connections at home, those with low data allowances to download such a huge game, or those that simply have a distaste for the new digital only trend heading into the future.Already have all the characters and don't need another physical case clogging up space on your shelf?
