We've covered a lot of news for Arc System Works' upcoming fighter, Persona 4 Arena Ultimax. The fun doesn't look to stop for Persona 4 fans as we have new character trailers, details on a free character download, and a release date for game purchasers living in North America.

Starting with the trailers, Mitsuru Kirijo, Aegis and Akihiko Sanada all respectively work their movie magic as they dazzle us with their attire, cut scene talents and, most importantly, their fighting skills:

Tohru Adachi was the first free DLC character to be revealed. In the bunch of trailers we covered a couple of weeks ago, we saw one particular trailer that covered another free DLC character known as Marie. Marie is a deadly fighter with skills and techniques that can leave her opponent immobilized and defenceless to her attacks:

She's a deadly combatant with skills that control and immobilize opponents, and who knows what kind of game-changing items she can pull out of her purse. Her Persona Kaguya complements her abilities with ranged and stun attacks.
Check out these four screens of the blue haired, dangerously talented, "antisocial poet of the Hollow Forest", Marie:

Tohru Adachi and Marie will both be free to download during the first week of the game's release.

Persona 4 Arena Ultimax is still scheduled for a Japanese release on August 28th. North America will now see the game release on September 30th. Europeans are still without a confirmed release date, but for the passionate Ultimax fans, don't forget that the title can be imported with it not being region locked.
