Tropico 5 Sets a Date to Set Sail

With the PC version of Haemimont Games' Tropico 5 well out at sea, the game's main man, El Presidente, doesn't want his console fans to miss out on anything that the PC fan base already has. With the announcement of the game's release month, El Presidente is celebrating and would like to thank the patient sailors by including the first DLC pack, "The Big Cheese," at no extra cost with the console version of the game.

The ‘Big Cheese’ DLC challenges players to create and promote an artisan cheese brand by introducing a new production chain with the Creamery: a new building that enables you to make the most of Tropico’s local goats and llamas. Face international competition in an epic quest to create the best cheese in the world and put on the chef’s hat! This add-on includes an all-new sandbox map and task, a standalone scenario, building, avatar accessory and music track!
A limited special edition of the title, which is available for pre order, will feature even more goodies. Purchasers can get their hands on the "Bayo del Olfato" DLC which also comes with a new "costume and map", "The Big Cheese" DLC, a postcard from the "the beautiful island", and a Tropico Passport.

Tropico 5 has now been scheduled to unleash globally in November 2014. We'll be sure to keep you posted as soon as an even more specific release date is announced.
