LEGO Batman 3 to Receive Season Pass

By Michelle Balsan, 2 years ago
Generally, LEGO game announcements are nothing but good news. With each new franchise that gets the brick treatment, gamers are left excited to see the new adventures and hopeful that their favorite franchise might be next in line.

Obviously, one of the most successful LEGO franchises has been LEGO Batman, which currently has a third installment, LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham, in development. LEGO Batman 3 is also slated to be the first to feature a Season Pass. The good news is that you can expect to see a lot of additional content for the game. The bad news is that, of course, that content will come with a fee.

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment revealed that the Season Pass will include six DLC packs, each with unique stories, free play modes, and characters. They also confirmed that, yes, they will have achievements. The first three DLC packs will be available at launch, with the remainder to come at a later date.

The Dark Knight Pack
Experience the heart-pounding chase scene from the iconic film complete with cool vehicles and explosive action. Play as the legendary Dark Knight and Commissioner Gordon, as well as the Joker and his goons as they chase down Harvey Dent’s police escort. Bane and Catwoman from the third film are also playable.

Man of Steel Pack
Help Jor-El, his wife Lara and their robot Kelex send the infant Superman “Kal-el” into space towards the safety of Earth as Krypton falls into chaos. Find a way inside Jor-El’s home, fight General Zod’s invading forces and battle against Zod himself to save Superman.

Batman 75th Pack
Play as Joker and Harley, setting up a variety of celebration set pieces. Be the Batman and play as some of the most iconic faces of Batman through the years, including his first appearance in Detective Comics #27.
The Season pass will cost $14.99/£12.79 or regional equivalent, or you can purchase the packs separately for $2.99/£2.55 or regional equivalent.

LEGO Batman 3 was recently confirmed for a November 11th release date in North America, and a November 14th release date in the UK on Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
