NBA 2K15 Introduces Face Scanning

By Ashley Woodcock, 2 years ago
The only time my 'face' has actually been in a game was when I was in the process of unlocking the True Identity achievement in Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas. It looked ridiculous and my face looked as if it had cling film vacuum sealed around my head, although it was pretty humorous in online matches. The newly announced face scanning feature in Visual Concepts' upcoming, NBA 2K15, is no laughing matter, as you'll see in the newly released video.

Rather than just taking a simple picture of a few different angles of the player's head, the new face scan feature will map your whole face into small points and create your features and look. Once done, head into the game and dominate the players that you hate the most as yourself!

NBA 2K15 remains set for release on the Xbox One and Xbox 360 on October 7th in North America and October 10th in Europe.
