Toy Soldiers: War Chest Discusses Customization

By Michelle Balsan, 1 year ago
When Ubisoft and Signal Studios announced that they were working on Toy Soldiers: War Chest, it was immediately made clear that this game would take us in a slightly different direction from others in the series. Unlike previous entries, where Kaiser and his troops faced off against other similarly-positioned armies, in War Chest you square off against other members of the toy box, such as Starbright and her army of unicorns, pixies, and teddy bears. Last month, Ubisoft released a commented demo, during which game Producer, Josh Mast, walked us through gameplay.

Now we have a short video, also narrated by Josh Mast, that discusses weapon customization. You'll be able to pick a primary weapon, a secondary weapon, and a barrage to take into battle. Primary weapons are what you'll mostly work with, while secondary weapons are more high-powered with limited ammo, and barrages are, essentially, your ultimate attack. Take a look at Kaiser's weaponry below:

Toy Soldiers: War Chest is scheduled for release in early 2015 on Xbox One.
