GfW Deal of the Week: September 9th, 2010

You'll have to excuse my ignorance, but I've only just discovered that the Games for Windows - LIVE client's Games on Demand service offers Deal of the Week offers just like the Xbox 360 does! I don't know how long they've been doing this, and my apologies for the previous ones we've missed, but here's hoping that we can inform you about all the GfW DotW's every Thursday from now on!

What's great about these deals is that they aren't on odd bits of DLC or random XBLA games but fully-fledged Games on Demand downloads, offering huge price cuts on entire games. This week's deal sees a huge 50% price drop on Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II (PC), down from $29.99 to $14.99 (USD) -- or in Microsoft Fun Bucks, that's down from 2400 to 1200 MSP!

This deal lasts until Wednesday 15th September, at 10 PM PST to be precise.

Experience the brutal fast-paced action of frontline combat where a single squad can turn the tide of battle and become legendary, in Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War 2. It's the forty-first millennium in the Sub-Sector Aurelia-a cluster of worlds on the edge of the Galaxy-where a battle of epic proportions is about to commence. Ancient races will clash across the planets that dot this section of space, battling for the greatest of stakes, not only the claim to the land and its bounty, but the fate of each race.
To download the game, you need to download the Games for Windows - LIVE client and use its Download section to purchase the game. If you click here though, you can see the game on Microsoft's official GfW site, which contains all the info you need to know to download the GfW client.

Thanks to Dat Boi Treezy for the tip-off about this, but sorry I didn't catch last week's deal!
