Final Call For Extra Life Team TA Members

By Dave Horobin, 2 years ago
This year's Extra Life National Game Day kicks off in under 24 hours, and we'd like to extend one last invitation to members of the TA community to join Team TrueAchievements, and help us beat this year's goal of $10,000.

Extra Life 2014

Since writing our last Extra Life article six days ago, where we detailed the additional new features that we've added to the Extra Life Hub, Team TrueAchievements members have raised a further $2,472, bringing our total at the time of writing to an amazing $9,312.

If you're unaware of why thousands of gamers around the world will be taking part in this weekend's 24 hour gaming marathon, or the amazing work Extra Life does to help raise money for children and their families when they need it the most, you can visit their site here or watch the video below.

If you'd like to join Team TrueAchievements, you can do so by firstly signing up here on the Extra Life website, where you can set your personal fundraising goal and choose a hospital to support.

Once you've registered on the Extra Life site, in order for us to track your progress and add you to the Extra Life 2014 Hub, please join the the TA Leaderboard and post in the participants thread linked below.

If you can't fit a full 24 hour gaming marathon into your schedule this weekend, you can choose another day that suits you better, or split the 24 hours into smaller sessions over as many days as you need.

For those of you not wanting to register, you can still play a massive role by making a donation (no matter how big or small) to any of our registered team members by visiting the Extra Life Hub and clicking the support link, or by helping to raise awareness by sharing the Event Hub link on your social networks.

If you have any questions feel free to drop a PM to our Community and Events Manager, Chad and Jessie, Team TrueAchievement Captain, imaidiot19, or myself, or post in the comments below.
