Dragon Ball XenoVerse
may not be appearing in shops until next year, but that hasn't stopped publisher Bandai Namco from announcing the pre-order bonuses that players can expect if they decide to place down their hard-earned cash before the game's release date. Pre-ordering the title at participating retailers will net players the following items:
• An amazing Shenron Black Metalcase
• Super Saiyan 4 Vegeta as a Playable Character
• 2 exclusive Frieza Soldier’s Battle Suites to customize the players’ Avatars: Gold & Crystal versions!
Players who pre-order the title digitally will not get the Metalcase (obviously), but will receive the other in-game items. None of these items will be available for purchase after the game's release.
If the standard edition of the title is just a little too vanilla for your tastes, perhaps you'll be more interested in the Trunks' Travel Edition. As well as the full game, players will receive a collectible TRUNKS MASTER STARS PIECE 25 cms Figurine with exclusive colouring.
However, the most important thing that will concern fans of the franchise is the inclusion of new features within the title. While we've seen plenty of details regarding the character creation system
, developer Dimps has revealed that there will also be a new game mode that can be accessed through Toki Toki City. The World Tournament, otherwise known as the Budokai Tenkaichi, will allow players to take part in a "massive frenzied brawl" for the champion's crown and special rewards.
To finish, we have yet another selection of screenshots showcasing some of the game's characters, as well as another avatar that players will be able to create. We'll start with Tien:
