Human Element Put On Hold

By Lexley Ford, 1 year ago
Robert Bowling has announced this week that the development team at Robotoki has ceased operations and that work on their open-world survival game, Human Element, has been put on hiatus. The announcement came a mere 42 days after the team revealed the world premiere trailer for Human Element at The Game Awards.

In a farewell statement posted on the developer's blog, Robert Bowling said that they “were actively negotiating a publishing deal for the premium version of Human Element”, but that he was “unable to continue to self-fund the studio until that deal finalizes.”

Alongside their blog post, Robotoki also released a video titled “So Long And Thanks For All The Shoes”.

Human Element was due to arrive on the Xbox One later this year.
