The Behemoth Reveals a Character for Game 4

By Michelle Balsan,
The Behemoth has certainly had their share of success with game development, what with Alien Hominid HD, Castle Crashers, and BattleBlock Theater all to their credit. In August of 2014, the developer revealed that a fourth game was in the works, titled (for now), Game 4. Since then, the game appeared at PAX 2014, where a hands-on demo of the grid-based strategy game was showcased.

Today, The Behemoth has revealed one of the units you'll be able to control in Game 4: the Cupcake.

The Cupcake is a healing unit that uses a catapult to give replenishing energy to units at a distance. If the Cupcake's frosting of healing misses its target, the intended unit - or any other unit - can always walk over the grid where it landed to get its healing benefits.

The Cupcake will have specific accessories available to it, such as a raspberry swirl with a fern on top, lemon meringue, or vanilla with waffle top, that players can collect via a variety of methods. They can either be purchased in the market, acquired through loot and rewards, or earned via recruiting. While recruiting has not been explained as yet, the crew at The Behemoth have promised that details about this game feature will be revealed at PAX East in March.

At this time, much about Game 4 is still not revealed, such as what platforms we can expect to see it on or a launch window. As we get those details, we'll be sure to pass them along.
