Gunsport Coming to Xbox One

By Michelle Balsan, 1 year ago
In the world of Necrosoft Games' Gunsport, humanity has moved past war and onto sport as the way to show international dominance. After the fall of war, new nations and city-states were developed and are now represented by teams who participate in the titular game. Gunsport itself is described as "cyberpunk volleyball with guns" by the game's developer.

In the newly released video for the game, we get a look at one of the participating teams, Neo Tokyo. Neo Tokyo represent a Japan consumed with technology, but also with older ideals such as master craftsmanship and strong national identity. The trailer features apprentices to the game, but the final characters will be Yakuza-sponsored masters at Gunsport.

In addition to the trailer, here are a couple of screens, as well:
Gunsport 3

Gunsport Screen 2

Gunsport Screen 1

The game promises to be fast and furious, with each team having its own unique characters and weapons sets. Gunsport will be coming to Xbox One via ID@Xbox at some point later this year.
