Dontnod Entertainment has released the third video in their series of developer diaries for Life Is Strange
. Previous instalments have given us insight into their vision
for the game and how the strange ability to rewind time
actually works. In this, their final Developer Diary, Dontnod delve into the "sights and sounds" of Arcadia Bay. The team discusses how they have balanced the use of licensed tracks and original score for the soundtrack and why the art team has decided to use hand-painted aesthetics for the game’s world.
