Final Life Is Strange Developer Diary

By Lexley Ford,
Dontnod Entertainment has released the third video in their series of developer diaries for Life Is Strange. Previous instalments have given us insight into their vision for the game and how the strange ability to rewind time actually works. In this, their final Developer Diary, Dontnod delve into the "sights and sounds" of Arcadia Bay. The team discusses how they have balanced the use of licensed tracks and original score for the soundtrack and why the art team has decided to use hand-painted aesthetics for the game’s world.

The first episode of Life Is Strange will be released on Xbox 360 and Xbox One tomorrow, January 30th. Each of the five episodes will be individually priced at £3.99/$4.99. Players will also have the option to choose between two different season pass options, the first of which includes all five episodes for £15.99/$19.99. The other season pass will cost £13.99/$16.99 and includes episodes two through five.
