| glad to hear it.. i would definitely take advantage of the last day(s) of gruntpocalypse farming! i haven't heard anything about them reducing other score attack modes which are equally rewarding.. |

Lol...classic. Sure, the challenge glitch was a little shady (I didn't do it) but an exploit is only there because of a developer's oversight. Punishing people for their oversight is weak if you ask me.
The ONI: Sword Base credit boost was just clever; Bungie's lack of punishment there only proves that point. |

| The ONI base/Target Locator farm is as bungie states multiple times, 'pretty sad' if thats how you choose to play the game. Have fun doing the same thing over and over again, or you go ahead and actually have fun playing the game. |

BiLLzThEd0n said:its their fault not ours.. maybe they should have fixed there game before selling it...Good one...because it was a game exploit they were using...*rolls eyes*
You are an idiot...there was nothing in the game that was incorrect in allowing them to do it...for them to "fix" all these issues would cause us REGULAR users to wait or get disconnected every time you tried to do anything in the game.
The other "glitches" aren't glitches either, they are just "methods" at scoring...but seriously what is the point? There are no achievements in this game that are super tough to get, and to race to get 1000 now is just fruitless since there will be so much DLC. |

The ONI: Sword Base credit boost was just clever; Bungie's lack of punishment there only proves that point.Hmmm.. your logic here, analogically speaking says that if somebody left their car door unlocked without realising, as an "oversight" and then that car was stolen, it was only stolen because the owner gave the thief an open opportunity to do so and therefore it is the fault of the owner for not locking his car.
What you are insinuating is that the thief carries no responsibility for his own actions. That is ridiculous logic. Both parties carry responsibility, but the fact of the matter is, in this case, that the developers probably didn't knowingly leave a credit exploit in the game just to punish you for it, they are after all - fallible. Have you ever programmed something? It is incredibly difficult and replicating thousands of different scenarios for an output is simply unpragmatic, though they try their best. This is bungie, not EA.
Whereas in comparison, those who repeatedly abuse an exploit knowingly do what they do. Sure they could stumble upon said exploit the once or twice as a mistake, but to repeat it over and over is clearly the sign of a culprit at work. It's the lack of ignorance here and the will to exploit an oversight that makes the offence punishible, and the punishment just. Your tone makes you sound like you're at a biased disposition, perhaps you have done or would like to do said exploits reported here?
Just because things are overlooked and a weakness is present, it doesn't mean that a weakness can be abused without reprecussions when the weakness becomes apparent to the majority.
Peoples logic simply amazes me. Wow. |

| Already found out the hard way and got reset on Saturday. Some people exploit glitches to gain an advantage, or better gear, ect. I did it just because I don't really care all that much for the game, and don't want to grind through 450k credits just to get a 10G achievement. I will say despite my own guilt, that their recent bannings have, in fact, gotten a few innocent players as well. |
